The Hunt

Investigative journalist Mathieu Moreau is about to expose a human-trafficking network that reaches into the highest circles of politics and finance. He never gets the chance. He and his wife are murdered in their Paris apartment. No trace of Jade and Manon, their nine-year-old twins.

In a few days, they will be in another country, under new names, in other hands. After that, no one will ever find them.

Gurvan Torn and Mathieu grew up together on the edge of the Huelgoat forest, in Brittany. At eleven, Gurvan lost his family. An aunt took him in, far from his native Brittany. Special forces did the rest.

Mathieu was all he had left of his childhood. He can still save Jade and Manon. But he isn’t eleven anymore.

From Pont-Aven to Paris, from Tel Aviv to Riyadh, the hunt leads him into the heart of an organization that buys and sells human lives, and kills anyone who gets too close.

The people pulling the strings have money, influence, and protection in high places. Until now, that has always been enough.

THE HUNT — Book 1 in the Gurvan Torn series. A relentless action thriller, from the coast of Brittany to the palaces of the Gulf.
